Quote from el pibe : i needed winter tires because the law over here dictates that if you dont have winter tires after the 15th of december, you'll get a big ass fine. Quebec is becoming such a nanny state, its appaling how this government is restricting everything.

its similar over here...
since 2 years u have a law for winter tires as well.
we dont have a fixed date for it, but the law says "under bad conditions such as snow, ice ect".
insurance most likely wont pay damage caused if u have a crash with summer tires.
so its better anyway

this cant really be compared with a gopro tho.
it does also record video, full hd even, but the quality isnt as good (but its awesome for its purpose).

either way...i ordered it via amazon...
http://www.amazon.de/gp/produc ... ef=oh_details_o00_s00_i00

german obviously

Quote from Ni-san :Nope. Shipping costs around 12€.

That camera seems pretty light. Won't it vibrate a lot when driving?

pffff
i dont count shipping, but the item itself
i dont know, it aint here yet...
but ive seen a lot of vids recorded with this cam, and it doesnt really vibrate.

did my second refill now...

figures are:

Ford Fiesta 1.4 96 hp

7,32 L/100KM
32,2 MPG (US)
38,6 MPG (UK)

not that bad imo, considering that its not a diesel and it almost only was in the city...

Quote from e2mustang :You changed spark plugs, air and fuelfilter?

actually only the ignition cables for the big difference (about 1L/100KM).
spark plugs and airfilter didnt really help it.

i do as well, but on a german site.

thats for my old mondeo...quite thirsty.
cant tell on my new fiesta, as i didnt fill it up a second time yet...
but it gets way better mpg.
should get around 40 mpg.

mondeo: http://www.spritmonitor.de/en/detail/465409.html

fiesta: http://www.spritmonitor.de/en/detail/543561.html

Quote from e2mustang :what does it matter whats the mpg? u gonna fill it up anyway..

its actually quite useful...
for example the mondeo was even more thirsty, then i replaced a few parts...and i noticed it helped a lot.
wouldnt have noticed without it.
also helped my to find the best way to drive more efficient.

well in this case there is...the ford ka.
design looks similar but its quite a bit smaller.

same goes for the focus (ofc its bigger).
imo ford has done a good job with this, instead of thinking smaller car = crap, its actually more like kind of a similar car, just a different size.

looks smaller than it is tho...not directly a small car with 4 meters (which its classified at...) and thus only 0,4 meters shorter than my mondeo before.

just picked up my 2012 ford fiesta yesterday...really nice car.
drives nicely, very silent and fuel consumption is decent as well.
only got 96 hp, but thats enough for it (unlike the 60 hp it comes as basic model with).
sadly with the winter tires i only have ugly steelies...in the summer with its original tires it will look much better

Quote from matijapkc :How are the Renaults running? They seem to have very week engines and low torque...

stability is bad on them imo...
if u corner to fast it will start to drift off like all other trucks do, but its nearly impossible to return from that.
ive never made it so far...
unlike the other trucks, when i can easily recover that.
besides that theyre ok-ish...if ure ok with low power.

Quote from Bose321 :Why would you want a clutch with the sequential gearbox?

why not?
i dont like autoclutch, but i dont have a shifting stick (theyre pretty expensive...).

anyone knows how i can set manual clutch?
the only "option" i found is H pattern...but as i only have a logitech fomula ex thats no option...i want sequential with a joystick as clutch...havent really found out how to do so...if its possible anyway.
joystick is set up and assigned to clutch but the truck still drives with auto clutch
